Home Delivery

  • At our patient’s convenience, we offer a city wide home delivery service at no additional cost and worry free.

​Medication Review (MedsCheck)

  • Do you have questions about the medications you are taking? Ever wonder if there are any drug interactions or side effects? Medscheck is an annualized and free service that is personalized and modified for each patient who takes more than 3 or more prescribed medications. It helps provide trusted information on prescription medication to help with your chronic pain.

  •  It can be quite a difficult task managing multiple prescription medication and trying to remember the possible side effects and different instructions that you need to follow.

  • In order to ensure that you are taking your medication properly to receive it at its full potential, a comprehensive, 30 minute, one-on-one meeting with your pharmacist will provide you with the education you need to confirm that you are taking your medications safely and properly. As well, information regarding over-the-counter medications and alternative medications can be discussed to make sure that they do not interact with your prescribed medications.

​MedsCheck for Patients with Diabetes

  • MedsCheck for diabetes will be conducted for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and who are also taking more than 3 prescriptions for a chronic condition.

  • However, this does not limit a patient who is newly diagnosed with diabetes and is taking less than 3 prescribed medications.

  • A comprehensive, 30 minute, one-on-one meeting with your pharmacist will benefit all patients with diabetes in providing information that will benefit their overall health and lifestyle. Enhancing a positive change in our patient’s life is a goal that your pharmacists as Stonechurch Pharmacy want to achieve.

​MedsCheck at Home

  • MedsCheck at home is a convenient service for those patients who have physical/mental conditions or for those who live far away from the Pharmacy.

  • Patients must be taking 3 or more prescriptions for a chronic condition

  • This MedsCheck will consist of a one-on-one meeting with your Pharmacist who will also go through the patient’s medicine cabinet to clean up any expired or unwanted medications and will properly dispose the medication at the pharmacy

  • MedsCheck at home will help make a difference in the lives who are elderly, frail, and living in far away conditions

​MedsCheck for Long – Term Home Residents

  • MedsCheck for Long-Term Home Residents consist of a quarterly and annually review of medications that residents are taking. By participating in these reviews, residents will benefit in receiving focused and collaborative care that will improve their health.

  • During the quarterly review, the pharmacist will go over the medications, dosage, instructions, duration, allergies, treatments and drug interactions.

  • During the annual review, the pharmacist may identify any drug related problems that may require more in-depth care, as well as following up with the patient’s doctor, health care team or caregiver.

​Prescription Refills

  • Stonechurch Pharmacy is a fully functioning pharmacy that has been around for over 15 years. We offer services such as dispensing prescriptions, creating specialized compounding medications authorized under PCCA, and educating and consulting patients on improving their long term health.

  • We offer a number of Compliance Packaging options to make it easier and accessible for our patients to use.  This will ensure that our patients are taking their medications safely and on the appropriate date. These options include:

Pac Med:

  • Is a Compliance Package method that dispenses a patient’s medication into small, individual packages that are clearly labelled. Each medication is organized by the day and time that the patient is responsible for taking their medications. These packages are easy to read and are able to be stored in your purse or pockets

Blister Packs:

  • Is a Compliance Package that clearly labels the day and times a patient must take their medications accordingly. The name of the medications and the instructions on how the medication should be taken, are included. This packaging system helps ensure that the patient remains on the right path to have a healthy life.

​Dispill: 

  • Is a medication distribution system that is simple and safe for everyone to use. Each blister package is personalized, removable and colour coded per dose. These factors help the patients take their medications properly and will ideally optimize their health. These blister packs created and contain weekly medications where the patient’s profile of medications are printed on a label with the name of the mediations and how they should be taken.

Adrenal Stress Test (Koenisburg Test)

 We offer adrenal urinalysis testing. Please come to the pharmacy to pick up your Urine Collection Container .

Upon collection please drop off specimen within 24 hours of collection. Please ensure name, date and time is provided. 

 

$30.00 for results.
